I love people in traffic thanking me, even if they had the right of way.

Happend to me this morning: I had to stop behind a parked car in my lane to let the guy in his lane go first past, he thanked me although I just followed the rules and it instantly put a smile on my face.

So it will take more time until the tech is cheaper. Or, hear me out, this one is crazy: We employ cashiers!

Self checkout is not automation. It's making the customer do the work.

Automation would be: Stick an RFID-tag to all your items, make me check in with my phone at the entrance. Automatically "scan" all the items when my cart and my phone leave the store at the same time. Bill me.

I agree that people should stop using twitter and if nobody used it, it would stop being relevant. But it still is relevant at this point. We've put a big piece of our "interaction infrastructure" in the hands of a small number of maniacs. If those maniacs misbehave, they need to be punished.

Just nationalize twitter and be done with it.

Oil companies are not the problem, people who still drive their car to work are!

Are you sure about that?

Hey, if you only eat paste, there is no chance you get food poisoning from a dirty cooking area or an unskilled cook.

Discord is such an obvious "stay the fuck away from" product.
