I definitely hear you on this one. I stopped playing for a few years and I dropped from LEM to Silver 4. The skill drop-off is immense!

I was so happy when I found out RuneLite has this as a plug-in

Bards are Baldur's Gate 3's best class and I can't imagine playing it as anything else in c/[email protected]

Been playing The Dark Urge as a monk. And I am having an absolute blast with it. Wouldn't dare spoil it for you.
