The change is necessary for sure, but the person you're replying to was making the point that the 'allow' in the title is silly. Because it implies that it was previously legally forbidden to refuse a call from your boss.

Your work environment may be shitty (I work in a professional environment as well and no way am I answering to anyone outside of my hours) but that doesn't mean the law is forcing you to answer the phone.

So yeah, good law, bad title.

I agree that it's unlikely that we'll ever get a better adaptation. But to say that PJ's adaptions were perfect is a bit insulting to the books. They weren't great adaptions. Good movies on their own, but PJ was very opinionated and they weren't super faithful.

New Zealand isn't Australia. Yet.

That's the last thing we need... An entmoot.

You may be confused with "That time I got reincarnated as a slime". "I've been killing slimes for 300 years and accidentally maxed out my level" is fairly different

I don't say this to be edgy or confrontational, but it's not like that for everyone. I am 26 and have no idea how to empathise with people, it's not an innate thing for me and I have to put a lot of effort into learning it.

Not really here to argue any point, just food for thought.

I don't know. I hate the fact that I was born autistic. Unlike a lot of autistic people, I refuse to think of it as some kind of 'superpower' or positive thing.

I was born defective. I'm literally a broken human who doesn't function correctly.

I know that I sure as hell wish I wasn't born, and whilst I'm sure those mothers are going to do a great job with their children, I also don't think that I should have children at the risk of passing it down and letting another person suffer the way I have.

That seems kinda inefficient though. Why do the newspapers exist and we don't just get our news from Reuters directly? I mean, other than the obvious competency issue, but as shown that applied to the newspapers too.
