Yes. I thought Hassia is the English word but I looked it up and it’s actually Hesse or Hessia. Don’t know where I got that from.
You can’t even get AI on 2 year old iPhone Pros so I doubt it. We’ll have to wait a while until they care about Homepods again.
We realized we were both from ~~Hassia~~ Hesse (a German state) and from that moment on we just talked in that dialect and made jokes for the rest of the day. It didn’t work out between us but it was a super fun date.
I don’t but I sometimes get comments on why I hold fork and knife like a lefty.
German, English, a little Dutch and Javascript
The oldest still on my watchlist since 2012 when I joined Letterboxd is Enter The Void. I’m just never in the mood for that one.
I haven’t put much thought into it but I recently had this idea that we do not vote for a party that runs the whole government for a few years anymore. Instead we vote project based. That way a whole party can’t ruin everything and they can each do what they are best at.
For that to work, voting needs to be much more convenient somehow because it would happen many times a year.
Projects would be proposed by the parties to an independent board that will organize and validate them and make them available to the public to be voted on, like petitions. Before it starts, details can be sorted out or changed publicly.
After a project is done (or after a specified time) there will be a public retrospective on how things went and maybe it will continue or not.
I’m not sure if/how that would work. I guess there needs to be some kind of long running government with one representative that people can point to? Maybe not?
My hope is also the different parties (and citizens) would be less hostile to each other and actually work on things because they don’t have to fear the next big election.
It could also mean there are more disasters like Brexit.
Anyways, this idea is just fresh in my mind and not fully fleshed out.
That’s a cool idea!
I used to put so much time into playlists and general organizing/finetuning back when I used iTunes. Since the streaming age I just have a huge list of favorites and play that on shuffle sometimes.
I have some special playlists. One has songs I like singing along to and one has a few womens power ballads by Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion that I like to turn up on long car trips from time to time.
I also had the thought that I would like someone to curate playlists for me based on mood. I often listen to a song and think, damn I wish I had a playlist with songs like this. Then I create a playlist with one song in it, struggle with naming it, name it „Vibing“ or „Goose bumps“ or something stupid like that and then never touch it again.
Probably :D
