YES, methane stays in the atmosphere a shorter duration as methane, but most of it naturally breaks down into CO2 which then stays in the atmosphere just as long as all the other CO2. It is much worse than CO2 as a greenhouse gas.

Don't worry, your pessimism isn't totally misplaced. See that big "natural gas" line?

Natural gas is just a more palatable word for methane, and burning methane is still putting an enormous amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. But methane by itself is like 10x worse than CO2 and the EPA estimates as much as 10% of all methane for domestic use ends up in the atmosphere. Fun!

Elden Ring. Been on a souls like kick, so decided to do another playthrough. Haven't played in over a year I don't think so it's time!

Okay but FR wtf is usenet. I've never known, and I'm old enough to be able to say that I should

I'm sure plenty of people would understand it, but I'm struggling with a project at work where I've got an operator giving me bad data, and the project appears unsafe and I need to decide and convince my management if we're going to object to it or not.

Mine have no wire! They are separate buds, one goes in each ear, and they have a battery case like most modern earbuds (huge convenience boost from trying to plug in the old ones with the connector in that super awkward spot).

I used to also use the wired one with the connector that goes on your neck but they died after like four years of abuse and then I found these! They're great, let me know if you can't find them and I'll link to them somehow.

I use Back Beat fit Bluetooth headphones that use the clip behind the ear style. I don't run I bike and I like them because the touch controls are larger and tactile so I know when I pushed the button, the battery life is excellent, but most importantly they do not, I repeat do not block external sound. I need to hear people, horns, sirens, etc and most earbuds, even non-noise cancelling filter out too much sound to be safe.

Also they are sweat proof. Trust me. I sweat a lot. I even wear them on the shower sometimes.

You have probably noticed but never appreciated that men don't usually have big hips to keep our pants up (or more specifically our waists and hips tend to be very close to the same size). Some men do, but even well fitting pants slide down on me without a belt. My wife is always amazed when we take our measurements and the hip to waist ratio is so wildly different. She's like "I knew women's hips were bigger but Jesus Christ".

This is correct.

Idk about everyone else, but I sort by new on Lemmy and "all" WAY more than I ever would on reddit. Even sorting by new or all on reddit it just shuffles around the same 100 posts they want you to see. Here people post about all kinds of stuff!
