Its just not actually running on most chipsets on purpose so you need a translation layer wich requires a pretty buff PC. It runs well on apple hardware, however its designed for each other. But from what i know it does use more CPU Power than windows, windows is more RAM intensiv than mac as of my last knowledge as well.

Nah sadly thats a potato custom. The generic breadboard isn't supported yet due to problems with the closed source of the chipset.

Its not illegal for anyone else either, but them running such software for profit might be a licensing issue depending on the exact version they use.
Yeah but those are specifically designed for this. Linux Mint 22 isn't designed to run with what is basically nothing nowadays.
