I just used this last week with a Windows 11 install. It still works. :)
Autumn
Download an official Windows 10 iso from Microsoft and install it as usual (without a product key). Then, take a look at: https://github.com/massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts
Easy. :)
My servers/desktops are named after celestial bodies:
- Neptune
- Saturn
- Ceres
- Pluto
My mobile devices are named after space ships from sci-fi shows and the like:
- Rocinante
- Donnager
- Normandy
Been using this for quite a while. Pair this with some Trammell Starks "Music For Local Forecast" music and you're set. Those can be found on archive.org.
I'd say that is accurate. It is a slow burn to start, and it took me several tries to actually get into it. Once I did, I ended up plowing through all of the games. :) They are all excellent. The series is really something special. Trails to Azure is actually one of my most favorite games of all time, too.
If you've not yet played through the Kiseki (The Legend of Heroes: Trails) series, I highly recommend them. They are very story heavy. You'd definitely want to begin with the Trails in the Sky series since every game in the series is connected (and if you want to get the whole picture and experience the greatest impact from the events that happen throughout the series).
Eh, people should do what they want regarding retail vs LTSC. LTSC isn't a holy grail and casual users will run into compatibility issues every now and then due to it having an older Windows base. Since OP mentioned gaming, they will definitely want to avoid LTSC if gaming is something they are interested in.
Regarding activation: HWID activation should be used whenever possible as it's a permanent activation and will persist throughout OS reinstalls without any further action. KMS will need to be rearmed every so often and will need to be done again if an OS reinstall is ever needed, so it should be avoided whenever possible since it's essentially a legacy activation process at this point.
