I watched a YouTube video a while ago where a professional shoemaker cuts this thing apart and discovers that it's actually a pretty darn well made piece of footwear. Like, quality materials and good construction and everything.
All other ridiculous aspects of these boots aside, at least it's well made.

Rose Anvil's channel does a pretty good job at holding footwear companies feet - or should I say "shoes" - to the fire. I do feel conflicted with some of his opinions on leather vs other eco-friendly options, though.

Not a fan of the big red boot, but I’ve loved a few of their other subversive designs. I just copped their latest Reebok Omnizone with pump bubbles all over the shoes and absolutely love them.

IMO 99% of the shoes I see for sale in stores these days are ugly as sin. All the expensive designer men's shoes look like they belong on circus clowns and I absolutely don't get what happened to everyone to just accept this shit. How am I the only one that thinks all these shoes look fucking horrible? Plus a ton of the expensive shoes now have shit for padding in the soles so you are forced to buy insole inserts to even wear them without being in pain. What happened to good shoes?!
