Honestly, this response does not bother me at all. I get it's not the most kind and supportive thing to say to Silva, but it's the truth. Moments after the fight he went over to Silva and said "I'm sorry" repeatedly. Silva appeared frustrated with the situation, but he hugged Weidman. With the result changed to a technical decision, I don't think there's much to complain about.

It's not Weidman's fault that he was given a win. He had to react to that information, just like everyone else. Now, does that excuse poking the shit out of the guy's eyeballs all fight? Does that make it right to parade around like you just KO'd the dude? No, it does not. He should have been penalized for the pokes and should have been more respectful, at least. But the people mad at him about winning should redirect that anger towards those who made the decision.
