Fun fact. Lions mate around every 15 minutes for like a week while the lioness is in heat. Each session only lasts for like 20s. That guy is going to collapse and snooze for a few, and then get right back on her a few minutes later. That zebra is safe enough unless her sisters get jealous.
And the lion doesn't eat anything for a week because he's too busy fucking & sleeping?
Big carnivores don't eat often. Going a week without food is totally normal.
