Late posting this. These are some of my wife's favourite scent, perfect for a quick refresher before going out for my birthday party.

  • Brush: Rad Dinosaur Creations "Nebulagance" - TurnNShave Quartermoon 26mm synthetic
  • Razor: Koraat - Moarteen (15/16", full hollow) (3)
  • Lather: Zingari Man - El Cantinero
  • Post Shave: Zingari Man - El Cantinero Aftershave Serum
  • Post Shave: Stirling - Glacial Unscented Aftershave balm
  • Fragrance: Stirling - Ramblin' Man EdT

I still have no idea what I'm doing with this straight. Slightly sliced my cheek and nicked my chin a couple of times.

Pretty good results, though, and El Cantinero smells great.

I'm quite pleased with the state of the SDS. It now optionally tracks razor uses which I find helpful for straight razors.

I'd love to add a "copy" icon/button to the HTML iframe box where the SOTD formatted stuff is displayed. I'll look into that eventually.

This shave was pretty decent! Feeling more and more confident with straight razors, and this is my 12th go at it.

  • Brush: Rad Dinosaur Creations - Stars w/ G5C
  • Razor: Manscaped Plow 2.0
  • Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
  • Lather Catie’s Bubbles - Top of the World
  • Post Shave: Catie’s Bubbles - Top of the World

Top of the World is one of the best scents to come from a wetshaving artisan, IMO. Here’s to a short work day on Friday!

Fri 02 May 2025

  • Brush: Zenith – r/Wetshaving exclusive MOAR BOAR (31 mm Γ— 57 mm bleached boar)
  • Razor: Koraat – r/Wetshaving exclusive Moarteen (15/16", full hollow, carbon steel)
  • Lather: Mike's Natural Soaps – Vetiver
  • Post Shave: Pitralon – Classic πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ
  • Fragrance: Atelier Rebul – Istanbul

First go with Mike's Vetiver for me, and this thing is grassy. I've known vetiver that is earthy, stanky, even fresh, and I've often seen it described as a grassy note, but this is the first time I experience it myself. Noice! Thanks u/EldrormR for the puck!

I'm enjoying going through various software combinations while keeping the sub-exclusive hardware fixed, and I think I'll continue this way through May until The Games force my hand. Have a great Friday, my friends!

Very eclectic setup!

I’m traveling and am using a Friodur razor because it is great, and worry-free. I’m looking forward to more Moar when my trip ends.
