A modern sized ram is no joking matter .. they can really fuck you up good and proper. Now imagine one sized to match the fossil .. shudder.

I'm not sure if that picture is real but there are definitely Ammonite fossils that large. Just in case anyone had any doubts.

Ologies is a great podcast where they interview real experts in a field. A couple weeks ago they interviewed someone who studies snails in manuscripts. It has a pretty interesting (and surprisingly racist) history.
