If you read the source article from ANN, there are some staff changes for this cour compared to previous (new director for example). So, for those that are super into the weeds to that level, feel free to knock yourselves out.

On what to expect, based on the pics (warning: contains heavy LN spoilers)

It seems to me that they'll cover the whole Magic Academy arc: early married life, Aisha and Norn moving in, Norn's depression. It'll likely be the point where it outpaces the manga, and either end with Rudeus looking for Zenith or with Paul dying.
