Thought I would share this here, as it is so beautifully done and so useful.

For European mushrooms, but helpful to get a general idea anywhere.

Automatic download link: Mushroom Wheels

Edit: fixed link so you don't land immediately on an automatic download.

Anyway to share it that is not an automatic download? You know the site and trust it but I don't know either of you.

Thanks for the reminder. I've marked the Automatic download link as such and changed the top link to the main Mycokey page, where the authors link to this pdf, different other mycological documents and to their book, which also contains this identification wheel.

I wish I could afford the books, but only the free material contained in the pdf is excellent to narrow in an unknown mushroom.

They also offer an AI identification tool but I don't really want to try it. Maybe someone else is interested.

Still an automatic download for me. It looks very nice what little I saw!

If I follow the link in the text, it's an automatic download. When I follow the "headline link" it takes me to the site.

But they're the same link?

Hmmm. Ok, I'm using the mobile client Liftoff not the web. Maybe Liftoff is doing some link processing specifically to prevent direct downloads in "headlines".

Oh interesting! And ya, my instance has a good WPA (my opinion) but no other apps, so I am using the web. I haven't tried it on my computer.
