and I am really not impressed. I don't want to know more about the story, don't want to build a spaceship that I can fast travel with, don't want to explore the universe.

What are your thoughts?

A Twitch stream said Starfield was on. When I looked at the stream, the person who I assume was the streamer was sitting on her bed, DJing bad music, and talking about how she thought canals were natural, not manmade.

I muttered something rude and didn’t keep watching.

Personally from the screenshots and the vids I didn't feel like the game would be for me. Is there actual story? Are there fun characters to hang with?

Bethesda games have quite a recognizable formula, and this seems like their blandest implementation.

But hey, i am basing this on the other games and a handful of material. Ill probably crack it and wait for it to lower in price big time.

I don’t want to hear how good this game is because I only own a PS5 and don’t have a gaming PC.

An honest answer. I can respect that

Good news for you: It's not very good. At least not the first 5 hours, which are painfully boring and full of jank.

Same here...I'm incredibly disappointed they didn't release this for PS5!

I know early on you had Factorio playthroughs.

Maybe Satisfactory and Factorio are your kind of "space exploration" game.

Haha of course, yes. And space engineers, oxygen not included etc

Eh, for me, it has story and apparently I can romance people and shoot stuff. So it's already up there for me. But can totally see how people will feel different. Especially if you felt any hype for this. Me however has had no hype for Bethesda games after fallout 76

The gunplay looks pretty fun to me. That's the most important part for me, if the actual combat isn't fun, then that's a different story, but it looks pretty cool. Cool enough for me to try it out on gamepass.

I would say it is. The shooting is hands down best Bethesda combat, clear enhancements over Fallout 4. And I haven't really been into too many fights yet. Having been to Mars I can start to see how the environments really change up the combat

I already have space game. It's called No Mans Sky and it's pretty darn cool.

And it has VR too! I think NMS and having actual Daggerfall doesn't leave me any room to particularly care about Starfield. I don't get the hype at all.

Hopefully in a year or two fans like Luke Smith will port Starfield to PCVR

Until then VorpX profiles aren't really too bad.
