Yeaaaaah Elon has enough stuff. He doesn’t need me too
I've been buying Apple stuff since they were paying Woz to solder. All of this boot licking they've been doing is really killing my life-long love of this company.
But Google doesn't offer a very compelling safe harbor to migrate to with Android, do they?
I've only been using Apple stuff since '07, but I've been through a similar thing lately. My iPhone contract was due, so after a ridiculous amount of consideration and research I ended up getting a Pixel 9, which I've put GrapheneOS on. Its a huge learning curve, but I'm glad I did it.
If I have to have a smartphone, I may as well have one that's as much on my terms as possible.
@magnus919 @sundrei @apple_enthusiast to be fair, almost no major US company/CEO/CFO/President hasn’t kissed the ring to one degree or another. It’s the cost of doing business under American capitalism with someone as corrupt and manipulatable as Trump. In fact it’s likely a matter of survival, not just profitability with a someone as vindictive as Trump is with almost no government checks on his power.
stop pinning this on trump. it is the citizens of the USA. with a population so shitty ring licking is rule.
Well, as Nawfal puts it, “The key difference? No more pointing your phone at the sky—Starlink works right from your pocket.”
But the article also says
remember that satellite connections require line of sight to the sky
Is it saying this doesn’t apply to Starlink?
Can't be long until elmo censors starlink internet
fuck I just bought a new iPhone
If you’re not on T-Mobile, don’t worry about it. T-Mobile has the deal with Starlink, not Apple.
Pretty sure you can return it within 30 days.
