I kinda like it
It’s fine, but the stylized moz://a we had gotten used to just felt like it said what it had to say very succinctly.
It reminds me of the Mozilla dragon
I said it elsewhere already, but the new logo reminds me of a broken OSD from a really old CRT television where the channel number wasn't overlayed but directly added to the video stream by the tuner hardware.
FOSS enjoyers are not beating the furry allegations 😞
Today is the day Mozilla.social shuts down. Everybody on the instance is saying their goodbyes.

I was relieved to see that they didn't just abandon the fediverse, but why did they have to pick .social
They didn't verify themselves either.
I'm out of the loop on Mastodon, what's wrong with .social?
It is huge
Too many people choose it as they don't usually fully understand federation, so its extremely big.
