Not from what I can tell, maybe a little teeny bit but nothing meaningful

That's what I'm thinking too. They only like him because of his bs on Twitter. Maybe they're the ones that bought the N64 Truck?

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago

Yeah, and even then a lot of them remember being browbeaten about his stuff and are still not fans.

Even worse there are some lefties I know who still defend him now for what he "did" back then

This is where I think capitalism might actually work by virtue of its own perversions. As the conscientious progressives abandon him, he's going to have to shill even harder to conservatives to try to tap into that market. If some asshole can get MAGAs to buy into renewables, I'm just going to sit back and let it happen.

Thanks I hate this, but you're absolutely right.

He's managed to sell some of the richest of them gaudy overpriced electric vehicles, but not enough to make an environmental impact and not for the right reasons.

They wouldn't touch Elon until they found out he was a bigoted fascist. Then they flocked to him. Conservatives are pure garbage.

And they still don’t buy his products.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Hey look at this!

I have something in common with pro Trump conservatives!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

We have more in common than separates us!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Exactly. For instance neither of us trust Musk enough to buy his products.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

Smart people don't buy cybertrucks.

[–] [email protected] 58 points 1 month ago (1 children)

He sure lost a lot more liberal customers than he gained in conservative ones.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I don't know, by the number of cyber trucks I'm seeing with don't tread on me license plates... I'm wondering if that's true.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago

Cybertrucks are new and stand out appearance wise. Don't let visibility bias make you think they're doing well.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Oh, no no, they're not required to put that "don't tread on me" plate, we already know they're all ancaps

[–] [email protected] 43 points 1 month ago

Clown to clown communication

[–] [email protected] 40 points 1 month ago

Eh. I live in a well off TN county and Teslas didn't show up outside of Nashville until he started going mask off.

So, the rural conservatives? No. The people conservative leadership actually cares about, yes.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago

By being a bigot

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago

I'll believe it when I see cyber trucks replace F150s.

Money.

Final answer.

Edit: 🤞just in case, but I’m pretty confident in my answer.
