I recently had to replace the iPad I was using as my register in my business. I have been using my iPad Pro (2018) for the time being. But I need to get a second device.

My current iPad has 512gb and I am bouncing between the same or 1tb, but since the nano glass screens only come one the 1tb+ models I am thinking about going that route.

I have astigmatism from an eye injury, so screen glare is a killer for me. I currently have a matte paper like screen protector on my pro.

If you got the nano glass and had it to do over again would you still get it? If you were leaning towards the 512gb model but went with larger storage for the nano glass, was that worth it to you?

I have it on a studio display.

I don't notice any blurriness or colour inaccuracy next to my 14" Macbook Pro screen.

I do notice way less glare.

It's nice. Not sure it's worth the price increase, but if glare bothers you, it's almost certaintly worth it.

I didn’t get it and I haven’t thought about it in months. I do photography work and was scared off by the warnings about inaccurate color and brightness.

What do you use? I make video and I'm thinking I need a tablet mostly for app controls, pulling up scripts/shotlists on set, etc. It would be nice if it can also do some light editing while on the road but not a hard requirement. Any advice?

Not them but I use light room for photo, davinci resolve for film. M1 iPad Pro.

Yeah the resolve app alone definitely makes me think iPad, since that's what I use on the pc and they don't have an android version, even if my religion normally forbids me from apple products haha.

I guess you plug an SSD into it? Any point spending more for internal memory? Works good without proxies etc? I see some like yours with M1 chip for like 670€ refurbished, that's pretty reasonable.

Originally I wasn't considering being able to edit/do light work on it because I mostly want to run simple apps with it that don't need a lot of juice so standard iPad would be fine, but if it's doable at that kind of budget then maybe.

I decided to go cellular and 2tb so I have room for all my anime porn, so it ended up coming in over $2300.
