Analysis of the most impactful components of the series obtained by performing a Fourier transform of the vibe.
Wym? Am I missing something? Either should work, right? I am most familiar with it described as Fourier analysis which to me is synonymous with analysis in the frequency domain.
Analysis is about discovering or using the entire series. A vibe check is a local thing.
Anyway, it's just unrequested pedantism.

This would work inverted as well: "Yeah, I'm running a quick vibe check on the data to find out where the noise is coming from."
