An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! 🇵🇭
Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.
Filipino artists whose works were featured on our daily random thread covers.
Josh Howard was canceled back in 2008 for saying he doesn't celebrate the Star Spangled Banner because he's black... 10+ years later and doing that is cool.
Anong flavor ng history kaya ang ituturo nila?
The problem I have with history teachers (at least from my experience) is that they tend to have a bias on how they teach it. I'd prefer that they just explain everything as is and let the students decide.
A good example is this, the Marcoses. I'm so sick and tired of the Marcos era being taught in such a black and white way. Puros na lang human rights this, Voltes V that. Or if you're pro-Marcos, infrastructure this, heinous crimes punished that. No mention at all of his complex relationship with the Americans or lord knows what else was buried because the narrative is always drastically on either side and walang middle ground.
I kinda expected Cena to retire since he's had quite a successful Hollywood run but still sad to see him go kahit hindi ako fan. He's the wrestler I've seen the longest with Undertaker, Triple H, all retired. He's had some banger matches although mic skills niya was always annoying.
I have same opinion nung binoto ng mga kababayan natin si 88M
Saw that many days ago. For a 4080 💻 with an 18-inch screen, I thought $ 2250 was cheap. I hope it's available in 🇵🇭 for that cost.
with the fx rate looming the dreaded 60:1 would'nt hold my breath
