Should I make a new account for / on programming.dev then?

Just leave Lemmy.ml.
but I already left reddit
Lemmy.ml is fine.
You can migrate if you choose to, but it's really fine. People are over exaggerating the issue, it's mostly about Lemmy.ml communities and not users
I feel for you. People said "just join any instance" and now people like you have everything set up on the CCP's Fediverse propaganda hub.
Isn't there more active [email protected] already?
I had a quick look, no post for 2 days, the two post of todays are reposts from someone who posted them to [email protected] too. The mod hasn't been active for a month.
And having a community off LW for a change is nice, this is like hitting two birds with one stone.
I was looking at weekly and monthly stats, as well as the amount of subscribers. Though I agree that the most recent data shows that [email protected] is probably more active. And this community fits programming.dev more. I'll subscribe to both and see where it goes :s
I dont get these alternatives. Lemmy needs a feature to mirror communities to other servers. Having 2 is annoying
We still have [email protected] and [email protected] side by side.
I guess in this case the question is if you are okay with lemmy.ml moderation practices: https://slrpnk.net/post/10244872
