So nobody named Gary will live past 58? That's sad.

Not if they stay in Britain. Yes, that's a threat, get outta here Gary!

It’s Logan’s Run but for Garys.

I don't think I've ever met a Gary.

Edit: I did more digging and this is false

Let's clear this up - the last person to be called Gary WAS NOT BORN IN 1992 and they will not die out by 2050.

The story comes from the Daily Mash, a very funny site but really, when this quote was used, everyone should have known it was a joke:

"Logan, who tours maternity hospitals promoting the name Gary, said: 'We’ve already lost Alan, the last Ken is living in a shed in Farnborough and the Lees that were once at every party claiming they knew martial arts are increasingly rare.'"

Still never met one though, but I'm Canadian.

Imagine being a travelling name salesman. This takes brand promotion to a whole new level.

Gary Gary Gary!

I imagine a version of Children of Men, but the societal problems only revolve around guys named Gary. The news cycle always keeps track of Britain's youngest Gary, and the movie takes us through a depressing story about how everything is collapsing into civil war until one woman is able to give birth to a child named Gary. Of course, there are plenty of children being born all the time, but sadly, none of them are named Gary.

At the end, the woman and her child are on a boat waiting for the Gary Foundation to come and take them to Garyland. She looks down into the twinkling eyes of her newborn and says, "nah, you look like a Tommy." Roll credits.

Won't some brave Gary save us in this trying time?

Even everyone's favourite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

He is clearly one of the treasured few

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 months ago

Probably for the better, if you think about what happens when a Gary gets Busey.
