When you create a Proton Pass alias you can manage it using SimpleLogin too, but you can’t see or manage SimpleLogin alias using Proton Pass apps/extensions.

Besides what has already mentioned, there also isn’t any way to activate/deactivate an alias via Proton Pass.
I tested yesterday and if you delete an alias in Proton Pass, it also deletes in SimpleLogin. But, there's no way to just activate/deactivate from what I can see.
Yeah, I’m referring to the second part of your message here. The only time I’m really needing to use SimpleLogin is to deactive aliases
Sorry for the late reply, however there is a way. When you put an alias into Trash in Proton Pass, the Alias is disabled SL side. If you empty the Trash, the Alias is deleted SL side.
