Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I've never seen the 'Cliff go Cheshire Cat before.
He did it just this Sunday.
That's true! Great work. I missed that one.
Stellar face/head replacement. One of your best edits yet.
I used myself as a model
Am I not getting something here? Is this a meme of some kind? I don't see the joke in removing heathcliff and these comics are cluttering this community. Is there a way of filtering these out somehow?
Cluterring how...? There's one per day.
And they are awesome.
Just block the user. I like trying to guess where the cat was. It is funny that the jokes sometimes don't need the main character to work
Some clients allow you to filter posts with specific words in the title, so you can filter out posts with heathcliff
Ah nice, I found the setting in Voyager! I wouldn't want to block the user, they might have other cool things to contribute. I just don't like this particular content and it's very prominent in my feed.
It was originally Garfield without Garfield which took the inimitable inability to tell a joke that Jim Davis is capable of and transformed the comic into (most of the time) an exploration of existential nightmare. It just doesn’t hit the same with Heathcliff because most of them are actually endearing and bizarre—without the cat for the physical gag it’s just kind of confusing and not much else.
Ah, now that you mention it, I remember those! They were indeed very bizarre and unsettling at times!
