Barrelling out of a club, mid comedown as the sun is coming up and seeing all the bright and cheery people on a Sunday morning going to church or wherever. You're dressed in flourescent clubbing gear caked in grime and sweat from 8hrs of dancing.

This picture is VERY accurate.

Hell yeah, that's the real church though at the end of the day

Dear NotSpez, I'm in the rollercoaster on the right lane and I don't like it a lot.

[–] [email protected] 35 points 1 year ago

Mrs TotallyNotSpez, what a pleasure to see you again! Just a shame about the circumstances, hope your day is salvageable despite of the early start.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The right lane from whose perspective, Mr Totally?

The getting up at 6am lane

Heard somebody brush their teeth and prepare for bed as I was leaving for the gym today at 5am. Worst part is I'm not sure who it was as there are at least 3 people I live with that likes to roam the apartment at night.

Dude, they're your wife and children, and she says to, please, stop calling them your roommates.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 year ago

An then there are those that swing days and nights who are stuck in perpetual limbo. My sleep schedule sucks.

I woke up at 3 am because my body is pulling a prank on me

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

How impractical for the ghouls.

They boarded the ride, their leader says:

Alright guys, just buckle in and sit tight. Halfway during the ride we will get somewhat close to another train coming the other way. We only have a few seconds and we aren't really close enough to do anything, so just wave at them menacingly and try your best to scare them. For everyone sitting on the right, you are way out of range, so we need our most scary faces there. Don't be disappointed, they will probably still be scared and we get to enjoy the rest of the ride for ourselves.

They all cheer and put their hands up. One guy totally forgets about the other train and is just vibing with the experience.

I imagine they all went and got some ice cream after.

This has got to be Iron Maiden album art right?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

Turns out it's a painting by Johnny Craig

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Interestingly it was unpublished until it showed up on a blog.

I've always wondered if it was made for a commercial use that fell through. It looks like it should be a goosebumps book, or a poster advertising a Halloween event at an amusement park.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Every time I saw this meme I thought it was a Goosebumps cover.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Literally came into the comments to confirm if I remembered this from a Goosebumps book.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Either way, those are gonna be some disappointed zombies. Roller coasters are way too fast for them to get to those living people. Maybe they can get them after the ride stops.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Lol I was thinking the roller coaster transforms the people into zombies. So then they're free to get off the ride and go get some funnel cake or hit up the bumper card or whatever.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Also a possibility! Depends on which of them are farther along on the ride.

I thought it was a goosebumps too and was upset it wasn't so I decided to have a chat bot name one for me

Title: "Goosebumps: The Skeletons of Scream Park"

Chapter 1: Chills Down the Spine It was a dark and stormy night as Sam and Emma approached Scream Park, the creepiest amusement park in town. They had heard rumors about the park being haunted, but they were thrill-seekers, and the promise of the world's scariest rollercoaster had lured them in. Little did they know that their lives were about to take a bone-chilling turn.

Chapter 2: Enter the Skeletons As they boarded the "Bone Rattler" rollercoaster, they felt an icy breeze that sent shivers down their spines. The rollercoaster roared to life, but there was something strange about the riders in the other cars – they were skeletons! Sam and Emma's screams mixed with the rattling bones as they plummeted down the tracks.

Chapter 3: The Haunting Begins After the ride, Sam and Emma tried to escape the park, but it was impossible. Everywhere they turned, they encountered more skeletons, and they couldn't find the exit. The park seemed to have a sinister, bone-chilling secret.

Chapter 4: Uncovering the Truth Desperate to uncover the truth, they discovered an old, dusty book in the park's library. It told a story about an ancient curse that had turned the park's visitors into skeletons who would never leave. Sam and Emma had to break the curse to escape the nightmare.

Chapter 5: The Race Against Time With time running out, they embarked on a treacherous journey through the park, facing terrifying challenges and solving riddles to gather the ingredients needed to break the curse. They realized the rollercoasters were the key, and they had to ride each one to find the cursed amulet that could free the trapped souls.

Chapter 6: Confronting the Curse In a climactic showdown, they found themselves face-to-face with the sinister skeleton that had cursed the park. They had to outsmart the curse and use the amulet's power to restore the lost souls.

Chapter 7: Breaking the Spell With a final burst of courage, Sam and Emma shattered the amulet, releasing the spirits of the trapped visitors and ending the curse. The skeletons slowly transformed into grateful, living people.

Chapter 8: Escape from Scream Park As the first rays of dawn broke, Sam and Emma hurried out of the park. They were relieved to finally leave Scream Park behind, but they couldn't forget the chilling adventure they'd had. The park was now closed for good.

Chapter 9: The Aftermath In the end, Sam and Emma realized that some thrills were better left unexplored. They left Scream Park with a newfound appreciation for the simpler joys in life.

Chapter 10: The Bone-Chilling Memory Though they had escaped the curse, the memory of the skeletons riding the rollercoasters haunted their dreams, reminding them of the spine-tingling adventure they'd faced at Scream Park.

The end... or is it?

Try a train full of homeless meth heads who haven't showered in 6 years oozing puss from their face

I wish I could sleep in, but my brain says it's 5am and to get up then do nothing for an hour.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I don't know about you but I enjoy my niksen time.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Niksen time? As in nichts, as in nothing?

This 💯

It was annoying af coming off a 3rd 12 shift at 7am dying to get home and passing the overly cheerful day shift morning people. "good morning! Happy Friday!"

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

I worked at a factory once where the day shifts swapped each week (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm), but the night shift was just the night shift. And those fuckers were like ghouls.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

What of your somehow both?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If you stayed up until 6am, passed out for less than a minute, then woke up at still 6am, you definitely look like the skeleton train
