No clue if too moist or too little FAE, but I'm here for whatever the fuck this is :)

Left bag is also doing a weird blob which sprouted two separate new growths too:

Already harvested some parts of the left one, as they were getting slightly brownish at the tips.

is this really lion's mane or some other Hericium species? Doesn't look like Hericium erinaceus, but I've never seen a young one.

Looks more like Hericium clathroides or Hericium coralloides

๐Ÿคท it should be lion's mane according to the shop i bought it from. it did form a few propper snowballs but those aborted very early

alright then maybe it really is FAE. from my understanding that is what mostly leads to freaky growth. wouldn't it just get Trichoderma if it was too moist?

Oh also this this the second flush of left, first exteeeeemely late flush for right. I just left it standing there for a few weeks after it did nothing for so long
