Look at Thor and the other Asgardians. It's the current trend.
Also Isis was a Goa'uld too at some point.
And those head worms billed themselves as gods. Like the Asgard got called, in that universe.

You obviously too young to have seen that series the picture is taken from. She had a human alter ego who inherited the powers of Isis. Reminiscent of Thor in the comics when he was also Dr Donald Blake. Also the example of Thor should open your eyes to someone being a god or goddess and at the same time a superhero
