I never had this problem, but i guess that one of the adapters(most likely the DP2DVID2) requires some drivers that are standard in windows and linux but not in macOS. maybe you can find the driver that is needed and look if there is a mac version. otherwise you are out of luck I think.

Thanks. On the manufacturer's website there's no drivers available but it does outright mention it is compatible with Macbooks (doesn't go into any further detail). I've already submitted a question to the product page and am awaiting an answer from them, hopefully they might give me something like a driver for macOS.
depending on the seller they indeed might send you some driver or help you solve the issue
