Huia, I just looked it up but I don't know anything about the bird.
Why would you bring back the huia?
When I was growing up in Dunedin NZ, our butter’s brand name was Huia, and there was a drawing of the bird on the wrapper. I read about it after you mentioned the huia, and I do like the concept of giving it as a gift. That's cool.

Got to find a breeding pair first. Then work out which area they will live in, so we can keep pets and toddlers out.
