ah yes i'm sure it has nothing to do with the dems being completely fucking useless, no it's definitely just them being smug..
Why not both?
because it's not true, them being smug is a tiny fraction of what's wrong with them, and pretending that it's worth noting is disingenous.
The Left appropriated the term "woke" from black jive talk of 90 years ago. That's a smug term and it definitely is a major gripe by MAGA against the Left.
It would have been better to use the term compassionate. I know it is four syllables but the Right couldn't ridicule compassion.
Have you been paying attention to what’s going on with the right? They’re literally framing empathy as a sin now.
Ah yes, I remember an example (are there others?):

What’s wrong with them and why they lose elections are two separate things.
