Use the link function and add an exclamation mark in front of it to embed the image, like this: ![example](http://link/)

I know the markdown code, but it don't work for me, nor to upload the image from the menu. Seams that Lemmy don't accept well images hosted by vgy for some reasons, only works occasionally.
