I'm a firm believer that editors should write.

Why? Because we need to really understand the author experience.

Get under the hood of what it's like to create, graft and craft.

And to truly appreciate your process.

I've done it at Arvon courses and in published article writing.

@skribe If an editor wants to write, they will โ€“ many do both and are successfully published authors in their own right.

Living vicariously through authors isn't our job โ€“ we're very clear about that.
