I want to move away from discord but I d be o not know which alternative is better (lemm.ee)

So, I want to slowly start moving towards better platforms that are from eu but I have issue. I don’t know which discord alternative is the best. I only know matrix and revolt. Would someone help me or give me their thoughts?

Github link because their website defaults to the Microsoft Store...

Edit: going through the installation process it calls email 'outlook'. I'm alarmed by how Microsoft aligned it appears to be.
