From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Went from 30mbps on speed tests in firefox to 130 and was able to get 90-120mbps testing with Steam.

OS: Linux Mint. mptcpize is in the apt repo.

mptcpize

I just heard about mptcp, and it looks interesting. From what I understand (from its Wikipedia page ) it uses multiple links, correct? If so, which ones did you use? Wifi and Ethernet?

Looks very interesting, I should recommend someone I know to try on their steamdeck (when connected to the dock) to speed up Steam downloads.

Literally did nothing diffrent other than using mptcp run prepend on program exicute. Same wifi connection. Everything else unchanged.
