I think about this story all the time. it's done well to inspire me in calling out bullshit fash talking points when I see them, it's always the thin end of the wedge.

It is imo also a stupid argument. I can believe he was under drug influence, given his facial expression. But I don't think that makes it much better, it just potentially lowered his self-control. But I yould also imagine that this was a planned gesture, given that he repeats it.

Didn't mean to say that was better. It's worse if anything. Didn't think my POV was bad enough to be censored, I specifically mentioned it was just my POV, I could be wrong and he's really a hard-core neo Nazi. I just didn't think he has deep enough political thought beyond "what will get me more money and attention"
