Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I see a lot of low-effort, unfunny, uninspired “comics” here but never saw one that shook a tip jar at me afterwords. A new low to be sure.
LPT: Just because you think it, does not mean you have to vocalize it. In other words, it costs you nothing to downvote and move on.
Instead, you made a conscious effort to compose that comment you call criticism solely so you can shit on somebody for trying to share something that they spent their time and effort on making and sharing with us. Why? Because they had the audacity to eke out a living by asking for voluntary donations to show appreciation?
Bruh. Not cool.
Faux Outrage
Pretending one is offended, insulted or generally affronted by something
which they really are not. The faux outrage is usually expressed publicly
because it is done in the service of an agenda. Those expressing faux outrage
usually labor under the delusion that no one can see through them, but most can.
Not sure that qualifies as "outrage". It reads more like disgust to me.
It's not even pretending to be based off an idea the creator had, as it says it's inspired by a tweet at the bottom.
Major kudos for sourcing your inspiration, but that makes this feel even more like a "will arrange images for tips" deal.
I don't like it either, but you putting "comics" in quotes like that, implying that it isn't a comic when it clearly qualifies as a comic, is worse than the dumb joke.
You could argue that it's an advertisement for the creator's tip jar rather than a comic strip, though I think it's both
