A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.
Rules
- All posts must be showerthoughts
- The entire showerthought must be in the title
- Avoid politics

I think it was during the Cambridge analytics days, but I read an article that the average person is tracked by over 5000 data points. So we're already kinda f'd.

As someone who recently ditched Alexa, blocks his smart TVs, and runs everything through PiHole and a VPN, I'm definitely...sorta trying.
