  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Summary

Project 2025, a manifesto supported by the conservative Heritage Foundation, calls for a ban on pornography, labeling its purveyors as criminals and advocating for strict penalties, including jail time for producers and registered sex offender status for educators distributing it.

The manifesto argues that porn lacks First Amendment protection, framing it as harmful and exploitative.

With a right-leaning Supreme Court, proponents aim to overturn existing protections established in Miller v. California, potentially impacting mainstream media.

Donald Trump has pledged to bring Project 2025 contributors onto his team.

My history classes were how heroic the founding fathers were (nothing about how they owned slaves until college), how the civil war was about states rights, how we kicked total ass in WW2 except FDR was kind of a dictator and had too many terms, and how LBJ fucked up Vietnam and it was his fault we lost. They did offer an AP History class and it was a bit more truthful than what I had so far up to that point, but was still subject to the same school board’s oversight.

It was very “both sides had a point but the rightmost point is the correct one”.

This was in the 90s and early 2000s in rural Appalachia.

Once I got to college I was like uhhhh what? It’s crazy to me that the federal government subsidizes and provides education that is going to lead to its own downfall. Maybe we DO need to dismantle the department of Education.

Holy shit did I just red pill myself?

Joking of course. These people can’t even govern their own impulses (see Epstein and rampant pedophilia on the right).

In high school we had one year of "world" history that went something like this:

Man "appeared" in Africa

Sometime later planted corn and stuff

Egypt, Italy and China had big dynasties and stuff

Now let's talk about the important history: Western Europe and more importantly America!!!

America is awesome - we do cool stuff and we are amazing oh yea the natives ... well they were well.. uh America is awesome!

WWII we kicked ass

Communism is bad

Vietnam war happened
