We're all the same apes, we just speak different languages βΊοΈ To answer your initial question (in proxy, am no Russian) btw: The russian friends i have do not feel more xenophobia than before. In Russia that is. I'd say here they totally would, considering how hating Russia became the new normal (and also considering how many Ukrainians fled to here)
