You can live in your delusional world all you want, but Kamala winning is a bad outcome for the US. You thought J6 was bad? They were caught with their pants down last time. This time they're fucking prepared for a fight. You're going to see buttfuckery from the Republicans like we've never seen before. Someone else posted a convincing argument for a contingency election whereby Donut Dump loses the popular vote, AND the EC, but the House (led by Putin appointee Mike Johnson) gives the Presidency to Donald anyway.
And if that doesn't happen, expect a fuckin onslaught of court cases from the alt-right terrorists. And the ENTIRE TIME Blohard Dunk is going to be SCREAMING to his base about how their country is being stolen from them. And they've proven again and again that they don't care about reality because they're so transfixed by what he says.
The constitution is going to be irreparably damaged this election cycle, you can basically count on it.
A peaceful transfer of power is always the best possible, most sought after outcome. Donnie won't let it happen though. I wouldn't be at all surprised if some kind of civil war or huge instability breaks out.
China and Russia (who have spent decades fomenting anti-US sentiment (for good reasons IMO)) could see this as an opportunity to attack the US while its weakened and the chain of command is not clear. What happens if BRICS pours tons of troops into Israel or Ukraine? Do you think the US is going to let their proxies get steamrolled? No nation can survive a war on too many fronts.
The whole world could be plunged into chaos. Billions could die.
Am I going to vote for Kamala? Of course. I don't let terrorists dictate how I vote. But let's not kid ourselves that it is all sunshine and rainbows when she wins. Harris winning is a bad time. Trump winning is a fucking nightmare scenario.
I want to say you're wrong about that but frankly it's plausible enough at this point to be scary
That said, let's make him have to blatantly try and take it by force, give him no legitimate claim to it. Even if he pulls that, I still think that's a better outcome than him winning in any capacity.
Agreed. Every sane person should vote for Kamala and hopefully we can push this Nazi bullshit into the sea. I choose to believe that the constitution and American citizens are strong enough to repel tyranny, but that doesn't make it so, and this is a credible threat to individual liberties and American democracy.
You're going to see some crazy shit in the coming months
You sound insane but it's not possible to prove you wrong until this election is over so I'll just leave it at "I hope you're wrong"
Yeah, it does sound insane. Most likely Kamala will win and the world won't end. But that doesn't mean that the spectre of ruin isn't hanging overhead. No society lasts forever.
I hope I'm wrong. Time will tell.
The United States Military and the US Strategic Forces stand ready to fulfill our oaths to the Constitution. The Strategic Forces, in particular, stand ready to launch upon the receipt of a valid and authentic order to do so. And those of us who still take our oaths seriously stand ready to respond with whatever force is necessary to stop those traitors within our ranks who would defy or threaten the Constitution, in accordance with all rules and regulations set forth. Hooyah.
