What does it matter to Ubisoft? They'll probably stop existing in the next 5-10 years anyway. Unless they make major changes as proposed by one of their minority stakeholders.
You mean go private, lay off a bunch of their devs, and hope the games just produce themselves for free?
No, I mean go private, fire the current CEO, and "[focus on providing] hit games within its exceptional franchise portfolio." Things the investor states in its letter to Ubisoft and other stakeholders.
