People will just shit post and downvote any positive news for this game just because it is built by a Chinese gaming studio instead of actually celebrating the fact that the game is engaging and not riddled by microtransactions.

No not really. The controversy here is the game is made by misogynist and also pro-authoritarian company. The same thing happened to Hogward's Legacy.

They don't allow streamer to talk about feminism stuff, criticise China or China related stuff, covid and lockdown. The point here is, it's not because they're chinese company and pro-ccp, it's because how weird the thing they decided to prohibit talking while streaming, they actively shown they're pro-authoritarian and misogynist by taking action.
