    Was Walter trying to save Jesse from going down a spiral of hard drugs or was he just trying to keep Jesse clean for work?

    The other option is that he is just an ass and he kind of wanted to see her die.

    When I saw this scene I kind of saw him realising both were a big win for him personally which was why the decision was made

    Possible they haven't updated, or something with your OS or a dependency is different.
