I personally have the WANDRD PRVKE 21L, I really like it. The camera bag can be removed as well and there is an external water bottle holder as well as quick camera access. The roll-top is very useful to increase its capacity. My only gripe is that the top compartment lacks pockets to organize my stuff, but I guess I should buy zipper pouches.
I have been looking at the wandrd prvke, both the 21 and the 31 L versions, but my concern is that even the essential camera cube takes up to much space for my needs.
All I need is my camera with 1 lens attached, 2 lenses and a couple of filters really. I would like to have the rest of the bag be for clothes or whatever I'd like to pack with me for a weekend trip.
What is your experience on this? Does the roll top expand the capacity a lot? How does it look when fully rolled out and packed to capacity? What have you managed to fit in it when packing it to its capacity?
Thanks for helping with my desicion :)
I use the standard cube (there is a large one) and I usually pack either
There is no dedicated pockets for the filters but I usually carry them in the "tablet" pocket that I never use.
Then I fill the top half of the bag with a couple of t-shirts, underwear, chargers, cables, sunscreen, glasses, headphones and hat, usually the roll top is expanded 3/4 of the way with a little more headroom.
As for pictures of the bag, I'm not home right now, I'll try to remember to snap some and send them here.
Thank you for your comment! Pics would be lovely. I really am a visual kind of guy. I really find it difficult getting a grip of products over the internet.
I get it, I had to watch a couple of video reviews before making my mind in this one.
Seconded, I have the same bag and love it. I added a wandrd tech bag and accessory straps and it works great for an overnight, day trip, or light hiking bag with a bunch of photo gear.
Oh yes, I have a toiletry bag as well for weekend trips, it's nice to add volume to the bag.
Thank you for your response!
Do you have any input on the reply I made on BlackEco's comment?
