It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

I love velomobiles! They are the fastest human powered vehicles. A few years back I pushed the button and bought a two wheel recumbent. They are so cool and I had to give it a try. And I found that they are about as exciting for me to ride as riding a lawn chair. They are cool to look at, and super efficient for commuting. The big race is in Battle Mountain, NV (http://ihpva.org/whpsc/). Last I checked the Varna Diablo had won the running 200 meters at just a bit over 80mph.
riding a lawn chair sounds like it might be exciting tho? like a go kart super low to the ground, maybe the handling is terrible?
It might work well for you. Not so much for me. As long as you are having fun, ride that thing like you stole it!
I totally want a recumbent tadpole but IDK about a velomobile
The tadpoles ARE fun. More Like a little go kart. I suggest one with a larger rear/ drive wheel, for speed.
That's something I had been aware of, but never knew its name. So thanks for that. I was curious and looked at the prices and... holy crap. Most of them are used car prices.
The ‘bent I bought was about $300, off of Ebay. It appeared someone had bought a container of them from a Chinese company that had shut down.
