A lot of it is Palestine, many people are very upset about that. It's a legitimate opinion a person can hold.
It is legitimate, but they also need to realize Trump would do the exact same. Trump's even made comments how isreal should finish the job faster.
That whole thing is a monstrous mess, and anyone who thinks they have the solution almost certainly doesn't.
I mean, putting myself in Biden's shoes for a moment, what exactly is he supposed to do? If he cuts off all arms to Israel, that's basically an open invitation to Iran and others to start an attack, leading to WWIII. If he gives them everything they want (the way Trump would) then say goodbye to all of Palestine... and probably still say hello to WWIII. And Netanyahu is obviously a madman. And Hamas is obviously a terrorist organization. And...
Fuck. Like, what the actual fuck is the solution? I don't freaking know. But I do know that everything Trump touches either turns to shit, or (if it's already shit like this) turns to more rancid shit.
Personally i would rule that if isreal has the arms to commit genocide, then they have more than enough to defend themselves from Iran. Losing American backing because you are committing a genocide is a national choice we should have forced them to make.
Saying Trump would do the exact same thing isn't the flex you think it is. It's an acknowledgement that your choice for President is far right wing.
All or nothing. There is no perfect candidate. Make a choice based on your options.
I hope biden doesn't run and we get a better candidate, but I will vote for him over trump 100%, and I will not give my vote to a 3rd party as a protest and risk trump.
I dont care who they run, I won't support them. The entire party has been silent while Palestinians get killed and equate opposition to Zionist as antisemitism. When we get trump again it will be because of liberals ignoring all the warning signs that Biden is a shit candidate.
Removed, civility.
Trump wouldn't do the exact same thing though. He would do SIGNIFICANTLY worse. His administration is actively asking why Israel hasn't nuked them.
It's better than not voting like you are and have been suggesting.
If you vote for someone with far right wing policies you can't be shocked when you get far right legislation
Yes I agree my fellow left-wing comrade, vote Trump4Palestine. From the river to the sea, Israel will be great again, we have nothing to lose but the ability to do effective real world progressive reform, me and all my friends here like John from the Orange Oblast in California agree 👍
