Joe Pera episode that reminds me of this. Warning, this episode makes me cry, like a lot. It isn't sad, but I don't think most people are prepared for a show like Joe Pera where there is no cynicism whatsoever. There is nothing to take away from the punch of the emotional moments. Joe Pera Talks You Back To Sleep and Joe Pera Reads The Church Announcements (episodes of the show, first one is the linked one) are just some of the greatest recordings ever. Church Announcements is not about the church announcements, and is instead about Joe discovering a new song to obsess over on the radio, Baba O'Reilly by The Who. The next 8 minutes is essentially a compilation of an autistic man stimming out of escasty. This isn't played for laughs. It's just letting us share his autistic joy for the episode.
