I hope we get notes functionality too. I don't understand why a password manager has notes / email alias stuff involved. I'd think email alias creation should be in ProtonMail and notes should be in Drive / Docs.
They acquired standard notes... There will probably be notes through that at some point through proton accounts (similar to how it works with simple login).
Maybe they'd go as far as to make standard notes just be proton notes and rebuild the UI to match Proton's look and feel but I kinda doubt that.
It makes sense to create an alias on-the-fly in the password manager because aliases are commonly used as individual logins, same as the password is unique. In fact many password managers support aliases creation.
Agree… I paid big for a 5 year standard notes subscription when they were still scrappy and the product wasn’t really all that polished. I hardly used it because it was buggy and the UI wasn’t that great. Now, it’s amazing and I am using it regularly. That said, the price has gone up substantially. I’d like to see it become part of the proton bundle.
