I would go somewhere where I could build a castle, complete with a moat and some torches, and hope I'm a certain fanon version of the avatar.
You're not the avatar, you just have all the bending powers in the avatar universe.
What's the difference?
There are other aspects to being the avatar, such as the avatar state, the avatar cycle, the spiritual abilities, none of which you would have. Also, the avatar's bending powers work even when others watch them do it.
